This street is known for its unique mix of stores, galleries, specialty stores, antique stores, fashion boutiques, coffee houses and its great restaurants. In addition, you have beautiful views along the Victoria Promenade, just a few blocks east of the corner of Jasper and 124th. The various art galleries in the area collaborate to offer a Gallery Walk and seasonal exhibitions focusing on work by Canadian artists. Some of the best food in town can be found around this street, from upscale restaurants to delicious takeout options, including Duchess Bake Shop, Zwick’s Pretzels and more.

West Edmonton Mall

North America’s largest indoor shopping mall and entertainment complex is located in Edmonton and it truly has it all. You can spend hours shopping here without getting bored, with a mix of major brands and smaller local boutiques. Even if shopping isn’t your thing, a visit to West Edmonton Mall is an absolute must. With an indoor amusement park, a subtropical water park, a cinema, an ice rink, hotels and much more, West Edmonton Mall offers something for everyone. Tip: the West Edmonton Mall is a convenient stop on the way to Jasper National Park, or on the return journey.

City Farmers Market Downtown
The City Farmers Market Downtown is a farmers’ market that has been an important part of downtown Edmonton for more than a century. This year-round market is known for its welcoming, open atmosphere and high-quality products, supplied directly by local farmers, growers, and artisans.

Old Strathcona Farmers’ Market
At the Old Strathcona Farmers’ Market, the motto says it all: “We make it! We bake it! We grow it! We sell it!” The market features nearly 300 vendors spread across 185 stalls. Every Saturday, more than 130 vendors sell locally produced, handmade goods.
