Winter Wildlife Tour

The winter months are perfect for looking for wildlife in Jasper National Park! With this excursion, you’ll be led by an experienced guide into Jasper’s low-elevation valleys and drive through Athabasca Valley, one of the best places to experience the winter Rocky Mountains. Keep your camera at the ready, because chances are you’ll spot all sorts of animals along the way: wolves, elk, bighorn sheep, deer and maybe even coyotes! Along the way, a guide will tell you all about the history, geology and ecology of the area and how the animals are able to survive in the harsh Canadian winter. On this tour you will do little hiking and mainly spot the animals from the van, so you don’t have to worry about getting into a prickly situation. This way, both you and the animals are safe. The tour leaves at 9 a.m., takes about 3-3.5 hours and the guide price is $70 / €46 p.p. for adults and $35 / €24 p.p. for children (2-12 years old). Click here for more information.
